Cornerstones International works with British international primary schools across the GCC, North Africa and beyond. Each school is different, different community, different timetable, different context, and each one has found its own way of making the Cornerstones curriculum genuinely theirs.
What they have in common is a commitment to giving children a British primary education that is ambitious, coherent and worth delivering.

At Cornerstones, we aim to work with schools across the globe to build and develop culturally sensitive and locally relevant curriculum. Here are some of the ways we're working in partnership with international schools.
At Cornerstones Education, we are working closely with schools in Qatar to pilot an innovative STEAM curriculum that is carefully localised to reflect the region. This includes meaningful study of local habitats such as mangroves and desert environments, alongside a strong focus on sustainability. We provide ongoing support and training for teachers, while listening carefully and adapting the curriculum to meet each school's needs, whether that's strengthening links to maths objectives or offering greater challenge for higher-attaining pupils. It's a collaborative approach that ensures the curriculum is both globally informed and locally relevant.

From September 2026 we'll be working with new schools in Dubai to launch a STEAM pilot programme designed to strengthen teaching and learning through a more applied, interdisciplinary approach. The initiative includes face-to-face training for educators to ensure consistent, hands-on professional development and effective classroom implementation. It also partners with local authors to create and deliver high-quality reading experiences that reflect regional context and culture, helping students engage more deeply with content. In addition, we'll be working with local consultants to better understand community needs, educational expectations, and cultural nuances, ensuring the programme is both relevant and responsive to the diverse learning environment across the emirate.
