Mighty Machines
Children will learn about simple machines, including wheels and axles, levers, pulleys and inclined planes. They explore how simple machines make work easier by changing the direction or size of a force. Children investigate and build simple machines, learn about the properties of materials used in construction, and develop, test and evaluate a prototype machine designed to help move and lift heavy loads.
