Plan, adapt, assess and report all in one place. Built around the Cornerstones Curriculum, designed for primary school leaders.
We’ve spent 15 years working with schools to achieve one common goal: a curriculum your whole school can be proud of, housed on a platform that enables you to manage it.
You didn’t get into teaching to spend hours chasing coverage gaps, compiling data for governors or trying to work out whether your curriculum is actually being taught the way you planned it. You got into teaching for the children.
Maestro is the digital platform that puts your curriculum and your children back at the centre of everything.
Watch how planning, teaching, assessment and reporting work together on one platform.
Whether you’re preparing for inspection, navigating curriculum changes or trying to get a clearer picture of what’s happening across your school, Maestro has it covered.
Curriculum and Assessment Review
The national curriculum is changing. School can be ready before it becomes statute. Cornerstones has already created a new curriculum aligned to the changes. Once national programmes of study are confirmed, everything will be fully matched to ensure coverage and progression – all free as part of your licence.
Ofsted
Ofsted expects schools to demonstrate intent, implementation and impact. Maestro gives you the evidence for all three. From curriculum sequencing and coverage maps through to live assessment data and governor-ready reports, everything you need for inspection is already there at the click of a button.
Teacher workload
Maestro reduces teacher workload, it doesn't add to it. Lesson plans, resources and assessment tools are all connected in one place. Teachers plan, teach and assess in the same system. No separate spreadsheets, no duplicated data entry and no extra admin. When teachers use Maestro, they have more time to do what matters, teaching.
Visibility across your school
Maestro gives every leader in your school a clear view of what's being taught, how well children are progressing and where the gaps are. Subject leads can see their subject across every year group. Senior leaders get school-wide and trust-wide dashboards. Everyone sees the same picture, in real time.

Most schools are running assessment in a separate system from their curriculum. Teachers plan in one place, assess in another and report from a third. The result is a lot of admin that produces a lot of numbers but very little that actually helps a teacher decide what to teach next.
Assessment on Maestro is different. It’s built directly into the Cornerstones Curriculum, so teachers plan, teach and assess in the same system. The data that matters builds automatically, lesson by lesson, without any additional admin.
Your subject leads get visibility of their subject across every year group without chasing spreadsheets. Your senior leaders get a school-wide picture they can share with governors at the click of a button. And when Ofsted arrive, the evidence is already there.
Explore assessment in MaestroKnowledge is clearly sequenced and Maestro enables teachers to gain clear understanding of pupils' prior knowledge as well as the knowledge they are building towards.
