Building Britain: The Roman Way
During this project, children will explore how the Romans changed Britain. They’ll learn about the first invasion in AD 55, the later conquest in AD 43 and the dramatic resistance of Boudicca and the Iceni. Through archaeological evidence and historical sources, they’ll discover what life was like inside a Roman fort, how Roman rule transformed Britain, and why the Romans eventually left.
